It’s time to make some big changes for our planet. This Earth Day, April 22, more than 1 billion people in 196 countries will work together to address climate change and protect the earth for future generations.
The mission of Earth Day is to build a healthy and sustainable planet. Though Earth Day is celebrated globally on one specific day, it is much more than just a single day. It’s about giving a voice to emerging consciousness and channeling human energy towards environmental issues.
There are many easy ways to celebrate Earth Day throughout the year.
- Eat less mean
- Start a compost bin
- Recycle used electronics
- Stop using disposable plastics
- End junk mail
- Buy local produce and support farmers markets
